Sad but true, every year, from 1 million Indonesian children, there are 120 convicted with cancer. 

If not treated at an early stage, approximately 10.000 children will die every year because of cancer. Cancer can be cured, if it is detected at an early stage,treated with the right drugs and medicine, and intensively cared for 3 months to 2 years.

Unfortunately,80% from children with cancer in Indonesia live in remote areas and untouchableby adequate professional medical care. Poverty is the other main factor. The high cost of for cancer treatment and medical care keep patients away from being totally cured.  

Too many children with cancer patients come from poor families, thus incapable to provide themselves with cancer treatment and even transportation to and from the hospitals.
